|New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association (NZRDA) is an association of Member Groups. It is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation which provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulating, therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities in New Zealand.
NZRDA core purpose is to provide interaction with horses to develop increased ability, independence and self-esteem for children and adults with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges.
They are in need of more horses, ideally horses with a good temperament. While they can afford a modest fee they are ideally looking for horses to be donated.
If you would like to make a donation please contact Tristyn Sheely, Administrator Napier Group Riding for the Disabled Assn Inc Ph: (06) 834 0556 www.rda.org.nz
|In 2015 Port Hill United will enter a Development Team into the Hawkes Bay Men's Division One, coached by Paul Weaver. We will be looking for new players (15 yrs +) to develop their skills by playing with experienced footballers at club level.

Having had 4 footballing children of his own he is well acquainted with the benefits that club football can bring to youth players from both the sporting and social side of the game. All 4 of Paul's children have played football for both the Port Hill junior and senior club. This year Morgan Weaver (15) will feature in the midfield of the Team carrying on the strong family links to the Port Hill Div. 1 team where Paul will be in his second season as coach. Paul's experience also includes 3 years as head coach of the Iona College 1st XI, finishing as runners up in the Hawkes Bay Schoolgirls Div. 1 in 2012 and 2013.
